Shakirah Stephens (Arts Management Fellow)
(ATC Member since 2008) is an alumna of Howard University where she graduated with a B.A in Radio, TV & Film. During her studies, she wrote and shot short films, studied abroad in Mexico, and even had the opportunity to work on a project at NPR. After graduation, she lived in Maryland for a year enjoying the slower pace of not being in school. Since moving back to Pittsburgh, Shakirah has worked with WQED. The most recent project she was involved in was State of Black Pittsburgh 2018 in which she served as the Production Coordinator. Shakirah looks forward to continuing to create an eclectic artistic career.
